How do you start Smithing? Obtain Ores - Quick Guide to 99 Smithing #1: In-order to start Smithing, you will need the following Ores:
Copper & Tin (1 Mining Required) > Iron Ore (15 Mining Required) > Mithral Ores (55 Mining Required) > Adamant Ores (70 Mining Required) > Runite Ore (use Edgville portal and teleport to Rune Rocks, 85 Mining required) Teleport to Lumbridge and walk South-West until you see a Bank Booth, a Dwarve (sells a pickaxe - 21k) and some Mining Rocks.
Obatin a RunePickaxe (no Mining level required) from the Dwarve for 21,000 coins.

If you're level 1 Smithing, it would be best to mine Copper & Tin. Once your have reached a level 15+ in Mining, start Mining Iron Ores until you reach a Mining level of 30.
Continue this methoduntil you can mine 70+
Smelting the Ores
Once you have collected your Ores, it is time to start Smelting them!
Teleport to Falador and run South-East to the first buidling you see with the furnace marked in the Green:

When you have arrived at the furnace, for starters, make sure you have both Copper & Tin in order to make Bronze Bars. Start by using the Tin Ore on the furnace, in result this takes your Copper Ore and creates a Bronze Bar.
Once you've accomplished 15+ Smithing, start the same process on Iron Ore until 50 Smithing, then start on Mithral Ores using the same process until 70 Smithing, and start using Adamant Ores.

Smithing Bars - After Smelting ores
*Obtain a Hammer from any General Store (located in Edgeville Shops or Shop Keeper in Lumbridge)
and teleport to Falador again and run to the same area with your full
inventory of 27 bars and 1 Hammer. Once you're inside the building with
the furnace, locate the anvil and use your bars on the anvil:
