First, I'd like to say that there are many different ways of making money. Some require more patience, and other require more skill and concentration. I will group any ways I know into those categories, based on skill and other different contrasts. The first category is the minimum requirements need. - Thieving
- Medium speed
- Simple
- Nothing needed to start
- Short-term easy money.
Thieving is simple. All you need is your hand, and some time. There are plenty of areas where you can thieve, and there are even guides to help you. One is located here. You may thieve in Ardougne, Lumbridge, Edgeville, and now Varrock. Finding a place is easy. 2. Crafting The second way to make money that requires the least amount of skills or money is crafting. Again, a guide may be found here. - Medium speed
- Simple
- Very small amount of money required.
- Long-term easy money
Crafting relies on you buying gems, crafting them, and then selling to players or the General Store. Each time you sell it to the General Store, you get a profit. Getting the level to make Furies, or Glories takes about an hour and a half. Whereas once at the level you may make furies, "big money" is available. Many players will buy furies. However, the price is pretty locked at about 2.5 million gp per fury. This means you get 500,000 gp as profit. It isn't bad if you stick with it, but you can be making more moeny with the same amount of commitment, and patience. 3. Herb-Farming. - Easy
- Little to no requirement
- Gain combat levels
- Very fast money
Seed farming is a great way to make money. The prices of seeds can skyrocket, or plummet. There almost is no defined price. Druids (located at the Experiment Cave Teleport,) drop seeds rapidly. They respawn quickly, and do almost no damage. The only seeds that aren't bought very much are Irit, whereas seeds like Toadflax and Rannar sell quickly. Seeds should cost no more then a million gp each, to 5,000 gp each. You can make money very quickly. However, players will populate the area very quickly. It can be packed sometimes. 4. Rune Defenders / Fighter Torsos. Located at the Barbarian Assault Mini-Game Teleport, the Khazard Guards and Generals reward points. These points (One per guard, 5 per general,) may be traded in for Rune Defenders and Fighter Torsos and Hats. Each item available costs 35 points. The Fighter Hats don't sell very well, but the Torsos do. Defenders may range from three million gp to seven million gp, whereas Torsos usually don't go under four million gp. - Medium/Slow speed
- Gain combat levels
- Easy (43 Prayer recommended for Melee Protection)
- Medium difficulty
- Decent money-making.
5. Killing Low Level Monsters A lot of low level monsters (who don't hit hit at all,) drop rather good items. For example, Dagannoths drop Clue Scrolls which may be sold between 15 million gp to 35 million, and Dragon Halberds. Dragon Halberds may be sold between a couple million, to 15 million or higher. Moss Giants, located at the Island, drop Dragon weapons and Dragon Sqaure Shields. These shields sell rather well and any price under 30 million is acceptable. Check my Drop Log here for more items that are dropped by monsters. - Fast/Slow depending on monster
- Boring sometimes
- Gain combat levels
- Decent to Extremely good money-making
- Decent combat levels, food, prayer potions, etc. are required/recommended.
